Information you enter
Inspection names, addresses, notes, participant details, room data, and attached photos are stored in IndexedDB in the browser on your device. They are not sent to an Inspecterfly application server by the inspection workspace. Public pages do not require an account.
Storage and retention
Browser data remains until you delete it in the workspace or your browser/device removes it. Browser storage may be cleared, unavailable, or lost. Inspecterfly cannot restore local data. Exported PDF and JSON files are saved under your control; Inspecterfly does not receive or retain a copy.
Website requests and third parties
When you load the website, your hosting provider may process ordinary technical request data such as IP address, requested resource, and user-agent information to deliver and protect the site. This static site does not include analytics, advertising pixels, or an account service. It does not intentionally load third-party scripts or remote fonts.
Contact
If you email hello@inspecterfly.com, the email service providers involved in sending and receiving your message will process it. Avoid sending inspection records or sensitive personal information.
Your choices
You can delete an inspection from the workspace, export your data, or use your browser controls to clear site data. Clearing browser data may permanently remove unsaved or unexported inspections and photos.
Children and legal requirements
The workspace is intended for adults managing property records, not for children. This notice is general product information and is not jurisdiction-specific legal advice. Review it with qualified counsel for the jurisdictions where you operate.
Policy changes
If the website begins processing information differently, this policy should be updated before that change is introduced.
