What the service provides
Inspecterfly provides a browser-based tool for organizing rental property observations, generating PDF reports, exporting JSON data, and comparing inspection records. The tool records the information supplied by its user; it does not inspect a property or verify entries.
No legal or professional determination
Reports and comparisons are organizational aids, not legal advice, safety certifications, proof of cause, or a determination of compliance or responsibility. Laws, standards, leases, and processes vary. You are responsible for checking requirements that apply to your circumstances and obtaining professional advice when appropriate.
Your content and backups
You are responsible for the content you enter and for keeping independent backups. Inspection information is stored in your browser and can be lost when browser data is removed, storage fails, or a device is changed or damaged. Exported files remain under your control.
Acceptable use
Do not use the website to violate law or another person's rights, interfere with its operation, or misrepresent the source or meaning of a record. You should only include personal information and images you are authorized to use.
Availability and changes
The website is provided as available. Features may change, and uninterrupted access or permanent data retention is not guaranteed. Because local records do not synchronize to a service, saving them in the browser does not guarantee their recovery.
